Your new company
A leading house builder with major residential schemes under construction across central and greater London, working on a range of schemes typically RC frame apartments they now seek an experienced Senior site manager/No.1 to oversee an ongoing scheme in the South London area. Project is an ongoing multiphase, multi-core residential apartment scheme creating over 300 private units, As part of a continued expansion they now seek an experienced Senior site manager/Project manager to join the project as No.1 overseeing the existing management team and helping to drive the project through to completion in approx 18 months.
Your new role
As senior SM you will have overall responsibility for the scheme driving production via the coordination of the existing site management, technical and commercial teams, You will oversee short term programming, Sub contractor progress/strategy meeting, Health and safety enforcement, costs -via the surveyors, all client liaison and generally leading the team. Due to the current stage of the project Experience of managing the external envelope is highly desirable and would compliment the skillset of the existing team.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of working with a larger house-builder or contractor on a flagship scheme is essential as is RC frame, hi-rise and External envelope knowledge. This is a key role within the business and critical to the success of the project, As such interested candidates should be comfortable running a large, busy site and all of the relevant paperwork, management reports and liaison such schemes entail
