Salary: 55k - 75k basic

We are currently on the search for senior software developers wanting to join a modern organisation using modern tech in the UK Gov secure sectors. As a result, the right candidate MUST HAVE LIVED IN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR 10 YEARS. Ideally, you will already hold SC clearance/have experience in public sector/national security, however this is not imperative.

In joining this organisation, an innovative software consultancy, you will be given the security and support to flourish in a highly interesting but challenging environment, whilst also having an immense variety of projects to work on, all of which make a tangible, positive, difference to the world. Working here, you will experience all the excitement of a start up, but with the security and stability of an established player in the secure markets.

Your day will consist of the development, design, and review of a variety of software solutions across the board. The role will be a cross between development and leadership/mentorship (80/20 split); you'll be able to galvanise and guide! In both instances, you'll be expected to work from end to end ideally in a variety of programmes/languages. Ideally, you'll have tech lead skills/be able to operate as a tech lead but still have a desire to be hands on. Here, you'll be able to continuously develop your software skills through practice and upskilling, as well as your leadership skills to ensure you progress in your career.

Skills and Experience
A proficiency in either Java or Python
Ideally an understanding of AWS or Azure technologies
Ideally, knowledge and understanding of DevOps practices and processes
Leadership experience, either as a tech lead or manager of other developers
A want to be hands on
A want, and willingness to learn! The opportunity for upskilling is huge.
As well as working on the most topical projects there are, and having an opportunity to upskill, you'll get a flexible benefits package in a company that seeks to work around you. Flexible/hybrid working is policy, with employees being given all the support needed to be able to work both in the office and at home. The role is mostly remote working, however you will be required to as and when be a little more flexible depending on the project.

All applicants must be eligible for DV clearance.
