Senior Software Engineer
Salary £45K-£55K
Are you an experienced Senior Software Engineer who hasLabVIEW skills? We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Senior Software Engineer role based in Dorchester, Dorset.The role involves architecting and leading the development of high-quality, medium-large-scale control software applications in LabVIEW for integration into electromechanical ultrasonic measurement and test systems.
Senior Software Engineer Requirements:
- Degree qualified in a STEM discipline.
- 3+ years of experience designing medium-large scale applications involving hardware integration in LabVIEW.
- Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA).
- 1+ years of experience working within a scrum framework as part of an agile implementation.
- 1+ years of experience working with source code control, specifically Git.
Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Providing mentorship to members of the Software & Systems team to enhance their proficiency in advanced LabVIEW skills.
- Collaborating with internal departments to design and implement software components for advanced in-house systems.
- Writing technical software documentation (e.g. user guides, design documents).
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in relevant technologies and methodologies.
- Providing technical product support to a diverse global clientele in ultrasound and related fields.
