Our client, a leading innovator in sustainable transportation solutions, is revolutionising the commercial vehicle industry with Hyper Rapid DC charging solutions. With a focus on electrifying transport sectors globally, they are scaling rapidly and hold multiple international patents.
The Role
As a Senior Software (Systems) Engineer, you will spearhead the development of distributed software design for our DC Hypercharging systems. Leading a team of software engineers, you will be instrumental in designing, testing, and ensuring compliance with UK & international standards. Collaborating closely with the Senior Power Systems Design Engineer and Embedded Software Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of charging systems.
Key Requirements
Designing software system architecture and validating its design
Developing and executing test plans through to product type approval
Proficiency in C++ programming
Strong communication and project management skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or a related field
Preferred Credentials
Track record in power system product innovation
Experience in SME environments
Collaborative mindset with a keen interest in low carbon energy technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
