About the Role

SSE are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join the growing IT Test Team.

Base Location: Reading

Salary: £47,872 - £55,653 and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent Full Time Flexible First options available

Key Responsibilities:

- Taking ownership of project quality assurance process/testing.

- Defining and documenting the test strategy and approach for individual projects.

- Controlling and running multiple test streams to completion.

- Ensuring targets are met and quality assurance standards adhered to.

- Representing Test team in project meetings.

- Deputising for Test Manager.

What do you need?

- Strong demonstrable test leadership experience aligning to the above accountabilities.

- Have good organisational and planning skills.

- Have the ability to motivate and lead a small team of testers and report accurately to management.

- Ability to use HP ALM (Quality Centre) and Azure DevOps.

- ISTQB certified. Foundation level at minimum.

- Test Automation experience would be an advantage.

- Energy Industry experience would be an advantage.
