Job Description

CVTC Veterinary Training Centre is very pleased to be opening a third veterinary nursing training Centre in 2024. This new site is based in Harrogate in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a new veterinary training centre in North Yorkshire with the strong backing and support of our well established and excellent rated training centre in Chester.

CVTC is an approved VetSkill Veterinary Nurse Centre with two centres based in Chester and Dereham, offering the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Level 2 Animal Care Assistant and Level 5 Advanced Veterinary Nursing courses.

We are happy to offer this position on a part or full-time basis.

We are looking for an experienced tutor/centre manager, who must be a registered veterinary nurse qualified to at least level 5 to manage and grow the satellite centre. They must also hold a teaching qualification at level 3 or level 5.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a senior position in a veterinary nursing education role and be able to manage a team, the satellite and the curriculum.

They will report directly to the Head of Centre at CVTC and be supported by the curriculum lead and the CVTC team, alongside the colleagues that will be based at the Harrogate site.

As well as a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience we have a range of benefitsincluding:
