Site Manager - South London - £55,000 + package
Our client is a top tier contractor with a need for a Site Manager to oversee the Interiors phase on a prestigious £60M new build projects in SW London. The majority of the frame is up and glazing is going in, so you'll be joining an existing team, but taking responsibility for the interiors, overseeing subbies etc.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the site and ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality
- Assisting the Senior Management in the formulation of contractual strategies and ensuring that such strategies are implemented
- Carrying out 'toolbox talks' in line with the work areas programme and maintaining records
- Identifying the need for Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work and implementing these (maintaining records etc).
- Ensuring regular project reporting and forecasting
- Supporting the procurement functions in the selections of sub-contractors and suppliers and provide performance feedback
- Ensuring staff you are responsible for understand their roles and responsibilities, and managing them accordingly by providing guidance and training as necessary
You will have:
- Relevant construction qualifications and SMSTS.
- Previous experience of Cat A internal fit out
- Proven track record in successfully managing similar projects with leading contractors.
This is a permanent PAYE role, and you should be able to show career stability in order to be considered.
