Full time, permanent role, office based

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience

Join Symphony Coatings Group, the leading provider of professional paints, lacquers, and coatings to the B2B/trade sector, located in Aylesbury. We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Executive to bolster our online presence and foster growth in our ecommerce ventures.

As a key member of our marketing team, you will report directly to the Group Marketing Manager. Your primary focus will be leveraging social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, drive web traffic, and generate leads. This multifaceted role encompasses three main areas:

Content Creation:

  • Craft captivating content that engages our audience and ignites inspiration.
  • Utilise tools like Canva or Adobe to produce visually compelling assets optimised for social media.
  • Harness the power of video and motion graphics to showcase our products.
  • Cultivate customer advocacy and use real-world examples to boost engagement.

Social Media Management:

  • Management of multiple social channels including Symphony Coatings as well as our ecommerce businesses; Blue Line Abrasives, AllFinishes, Industrial Wood Coatings, and Symphony Narrowboat Paint
  • Oversee all social media channels catering to both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Understand the nuances of each platform and tailor content distribution accordingly.
  • Implement a strategic content schedule to ensure consistent visibility and maximise inquiries.
  • Serve as the voice of the company, addressing customer inquiries and engaging with influencers.
  • Forge partnerships with influencers and leverage these collaborations for maximum impact.
  • Proactively engage with potential customers to drive traffic to our website and sales team.

Reporting:

  • Monitor competitor activities and analyse social media trends.
  • Implement data-driven best practices to optimise performance.
  • Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to utilise GA4 to generate insightful reports informing campaign decisions.
  • Track account growth and engagement metrics across all social channels.

We're looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with demonstrated experience in social media platform management, ideally in consumer-focused environments. While a robust portfolio highlighting your content creation skills is preferred, it's not mandatory. An interest in lifestyle brands or home improvement is a plus but not required. A valid driver's license is required. Occasional travel to our other business sites and customer locations for content creation purposes may be necessary.
