Key Responsibilities of Applications Software Engineer would include the following:
Design & Deliver Innovative Solutions
Work Collaboratively across the IT Team
Work with Application Support & Service Desk Teams to Provide Support for Internal Helpdesk Tickets
Enhance, Troubleshoot & Maintain Existing Internal Solutions
Work with Wider Business to Improve Processes through Automation and/or new tools
Provide Advice, Consultancy & Support on Projects as required
Document New Solutions & Maintain Existing Knowledgebase
Ensure Testing of New Code is completed prior to Business Testing Handover
Take part in Change Management Processes
Key Skills Required for the role of Software Engineer will include:
.Net Core / 6 (MVC / MVVM)
Microsoft SQL (T-SQL)
React / Redux or Vanilla JavaScript (HTML CSS)
Entity Framework
Experience in Developing SaaS Solutions
Repository Management (GitFlow / OneFlow)
Nice to Have Skills would include some of the following:
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working with JIRA
Experience working with Kubernetes
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience in Developing Micro Services Solutions
Experience in Automating Processes - RPA etc
Knowledge of Data Warehouse, ETL Process
Experience with Integrating Multiple Platforms
Experience with SQL Server Maintenance
Experience in Azure or AWS Cloud Infrastructure
Experience in Microsoft Power Platform
