⌛ 12 months contract
5V Video is working in parternship with a leader in the media industry, located near London, in Brentwood. They are looking for a skilled Software Engineer in Test with proven experience in a similar position. Having worked in the media, streaming and broadcast areas will be necessary.
You will be responsible for the creation of automated test frameworks, design and implementation of test cases, and write code to improve the overall testability of software. In short, you will be the one meant to deliver excellent quality tools and frameworks for the engineers to take over and test. You will need to have a strong development background and be keen to now move on towards testing/developing testing frameworks.
Required skills:
• Highly proficient in Embedded C
• Strong Python script development knowledge
• Experience building test frameworks and testing tools for STB
• Experience with RDK
• Experience working on embedded devices, preferably STB
