Software Support Engineer
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
£35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid - 2 Days in office (Southampton)
As a Software Support Engineer you will be supporting live systems, delivering sustainable solutions, using commercial applications and SaaS products through to in house developed applications.
The Software Support Engineer will work directly with Project Managers, Senior Software Engineers and other technical staff to capture requirements and turn them into technical specifications and produce mock-ups.
Maintain services throughout their entire lifecycle. Deliver reliability and continued quality of services by providing; resolution of defects, security incidents/improvements, technical and end user documentation and training, automated testing of changes, 3rd line support for these services where appropriate.
Skills Required:
Supporting Live Systems
Oracle PL/SQL
An understanding of Java
