Salary: Salary band - £49,806 - £54,588 per annum

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission is excited to be able to invite applications for the following post:Solicitor (Legal and Research Officer) Dedicated Mechanism – EU Withdrawal

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission is excited to be able to launch a number of new vacancies as part of a Dedicated Mechanism to oversee the commitment by the UK Government that no diminution of rights, safeguards and equality of opportunity results from its withdrawal from the EU.

Applications are now invited for the following post:

Solicitor (Legal and Research Officer) Dedicated Mechanism – EU Withdrawal

Salary band - £49,806 - £54,588 per annum

The post holder will prepare advice for proceedings relating to the protection of human rights in Northern Ireland, and they will prepare advice for submissions to the Northern Ireland Executive and other relevant bodies regarding human rights compliance.

The successful candidate will have a current UK legal practising certificate and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of human rights systems and legislation, as well as evidence of having previous experience in this field.

The post is permanent and full time.
