Description

Are you a solutions architect with commercial experience?

We’re looking for an experienced solutions architect or sales engineer to work in tandem with the sales team to design solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with our clients to uncover their business goals and technical and commercial constraints, so that we can build the right solution to maximise their profits whilst meeting their goals.

You will assist with technical questions and concerns during the sales process and frequently participate in the initial portion of the project specification process.

Your technical experience and knowledge of eCommerce will help Mention Me to drive new business revenue by being the product expert in meetings with our prospective clients. Your primary function will be to give clear guidance to prospects regarding how to integrate Mention Me into their martech stack. You will scope out technical deliverables and help our prospects map out all necessary resources required in order to go live.

This role sits within our revenue team. Reporting into Head of Sales, joining and supporting a team of 6 SDRs and 6 Account Executives within the new business function.

How you would contribute

  • You will work with the Mention Me Account Executives to scope out tech deliverables for Mention Me to be integrated on client’s websites and platforms.
  • You will ensure prospects understand the solution and resource requirements.
  • Presenting both standard and custom technical solutions. On occasion, scoping out what the prospect needs and implementing it into a bespoke statement of work.
  • Act as the field voice across sales processes to provide feedback to the product and engineering teams on what enhancements are needed to evolve the product.
  • Be involved in the infosec process as first responder to client questionnaires.
  • Assist with RFPs.

About you

Skills and experience you would bring to Mention Me

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a solutions architect or sales engineer,.
  • Understanding of the wider martech eco-system.
  • Experience in eCommerce, digital marketing or B2B SaaS companies is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Logical problem solver
  • Great presentation and communication skills. Ability to combine multiple concepts and perspectives into a unified, convincing message.
  • Confident speaking in front of multi-stakeholders. Handle sometimes hostile audiences professionally. Deliver high-impact presentations that emphasise business value, tailored for the audience.
  • A team player who can work well with a range of different people. Act as a mentor in the sales team and inspire others through your behaviour and global approach.
  • Work with AEs, onboarding and product teams to help sell to products, smooth transition to going live and informing product roadmap.
  • Ability to build questions that uncover business needs which are addressed by our products and solutions.
  • Find synergy between technology and customers’ business vision and goals.
