Leaders in Care UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Staff Nurse - Oncology to join our client's welcoming team. This full-time nursing role is based in Kensington and offers a salary of up to £39,330 p/a DOE plus enhancements, a £3,000 welcome bonus, £5,000 towards relocation costs (if applicable) and excellent benefits.
As a skilled Staff Nurse in the oncology ward, you will focus on ensuring the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting. You will also work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the care the team delivers. Working hours for this position are 13 shifts per month on days, nights and weekends from 08:00-20:30 or 20:00-08:30.
In your first few weeks in this Staff Nurse role, you can expect to:
Provide high-quality physical and psychological care with compassion
Participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service and managing care of allocated patients
Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area reporting to and from meetings/training updates
Recognising the needs for DOL assessments, mental capacity assessments and 'simple' and 'complex' safeguarding referrals, highlighting any concerns
To apply for this nursing job, you must have first-level registration as an Adult RN and a current ILS certificate or willingness to undertake the course within the first three months. You must also have appropriate experience in a Staff Nurse role and evidence of continuous professional development. In addition, you should have experience in risk assessment and wound care competency. Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice is also desirable.
You will receive a salary of £32,390-£39,330 per annum DOE plus enhancements and a £3K welcome bonus and £5K towards relocation costs (if applicable) for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility. You will also receive the following benefits:
