What will I be doing?

 

As a Leisure Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of the swimming pool, gym facility and the day to day running of a pool plant to provide an effective and efficient function throughout the Leisure Centre department.  .  



Reporting to the Resort Manager, the main job duties will include, but are not limited to;



•    Manage a team of motivated and skilled employees to provide an efficient and effective Leisure Centre experience for our guests

•    Ensure Health and Safety checks are done and adhered to at all times

•    Recruit and on board new team members where necessary 

•    Administrative duties

•    Vigilance in checking and monitoring standards of cleanliness throughout the Leisure Centre 

•    Familiar with and able to train guests on the safe usage of gym equipment

QualificationsWhat are we looking for?

 


Qualifications, skills and experience required to fulfil the role include: 



•    Previous experience in a Leisure Centre environment

•    Previous experience leading a team of employees would be beneficial 

•    The ability to multi task and work under pressure 

•    Good communication skills both written and verbal 

•    The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team 

•    Have a ‘can do’ and positive approach 

•    Good / strong swimmer

•    Hold the National Pool and Lifeguard Qualification or be willing to gain as a condition of employment

•    Have a ‘can do’ and positive approach
