Systems Accountant required for a period of 3 months due to an internal secondment, however, there could be another FTC and a more senior related position in the future. My client is also happy for the role to be fully remote, however a Dorset based candidate with the ability to work the odd day at the office would be nice. Ideal profile is a good Systems Accountant who could help with Management Accounts and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Power BI and Data Cubes is essential. Key duties Essential Oversee all financial systems to ensure integrity of financial information and lead on improvements and developments. Ensure that financial reporting systems are complete and accurate, including maintaining and updating master data, resolving application issues, management of reporting cubes and settlement routines and processes. Perform the role of AX module owner for the finance modules and financial posting elements of other modules. Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Team and Financial Operations teams to determine issues and potential improvements to improve financial data and reporting creating new reports or developing existing reports as required. Desirable Provide monthly accounts to the Executive and Finance Committee and management reports to the subsidiary company boards, as appropriate. Ad-hoc reconciliations that are not part of Financial Operations, such as stock accounting. Provision of fully reconciled financial accounting information to the Financial Planning & Analysis Team for management purposes, including quarterly reporting. Provision of financial accounting information for monthly and quarterly regulatory returns, as required.
