The Human Resources department seeks a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at WEP Clinical, you will assume a pivotal leadership role in the organisation's recruitment function for the EMEA region. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at attracting top talent, enhancing retention, and elevating the company's employer brand.


This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact our organization's talent acquisition efforts while contributing to various HR initiatives.


What You'll Do:


  • Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business objectives and leverages market insights, trends, and best practices.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by overseeing the entire recruitment process, including job posting, screening, negotiating offers, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and department heads to understand talent needs, anticipate future staffing requirements, and align recruitment efforts with business priorities
  • Develop and implement retention strategies with HR and department heads to increase employee satisfaction and loyalty while reducing turnover.
  • Coach and train hiring managers on recruitment processes, including effective candidate evaluation, interview technique and selection criteria to enhance their ability to attract and retain top talent.
  • Create compelling employer branding content for various channels, including social media, career websites, and recruitment campaigns, to showcase the company culture and values and enhance the organisation's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, career fairs, networking events, and employee referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks, to identify the best-fit candidates for open positions.
  • Enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and improve candidate experience with streamlined recruitment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and recruitment to drive innovation and best-in-class practices.
  • Ensure alignment with organisational values, service standards, and performance expectations while managing relationships with external recruitment agencies, vendors, and partners.
  • Develop compelling job advertisements to attract top-tier candidates.


What You'll Need:


  • Bachelor’s degree (in Business, Human Resources, or Communication field preferred)
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources roles
  • Experience in Clinical Research, CRO and/or Pharmaceutical preferred but necessary
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (we use BambooHR)
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
  • Pro-active and solutions-driven, with the ability to meet multiple tasks and deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
