Location: Hybrid (offices in London, Leeds and Uppingham)

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing architecture team. Our exceptional growth means that we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Technical Architects/Software Architects who are keen to be part of our award winning multi-disciplinary delivery teams, working closely with software engineers, product owners, platform engineers, testers and a variety of other stakeholders.

We want you to bring your experiences and passion for Technical Architecture to help us build best practices and deliver innovative solutions for our clients. You’ll be working across one or two accounts, driving the technical vision for a solution and supporting the teams to ensure we are delivering exceptional digital products.

The projects and technologies you work on will vary by client, but often include things like microservices, containerisation, serverless, service buses, headless CMS, micro front ends, search, chatbots, and other interesting tech. These are mainly cloud-based, with a focus on the Microsoft stack, but we aren’t limited to this. Working with multiple clients over time has the great benefit that you will get to experience a variety of technologies – not to mention ways of working, standards, documentation styles and people – which helps make this an interesting and challenging role.

What We're Seeking

In order to flourish in this role, you’ll need the following:

Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.

  • Experience of architecting solutions through to delivery, with a focus on web-based applications using .NET and front-end technologies
  • Ability to lead the architectural vision and delivery by working with engineering teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience of designing cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of modern architectures and practices, such as microservices, containerisation and API-first design
  • Experience of working in agile environments
  • A solid software engineering background, including knowledge of automated testing, branching and automated deployment
  • A working knowledge of infrastructure

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will be available onsite for client meetings as required but can otherwise work from one of our offices in Leeds, London or Uppingham once or twice a week or from home as required.

Please note you must currently hold valid UK Right to Work documentation in order to take up this position.

About Us

We are the digital change makers.

At MMT, we build platforms and partnerships that empower businesses to realise digital value, faster.

By cutting through complexity with the agility to think and do, we guide our clients to be digitally better – making positive impact for our clients’ teams, customers and bottom line. Where challenges exist with innovation, strategy, speed of delivery, customer experience and costly infrastructure, MMT can deliver measurable results and help businesses achieve digital maturity at speed.

We partner with clients such as Boots, Vodafone and BP to equip them with all what’s needed to successfully innovate and lead the industry with a digital-first approach. We also work with organisations like Translink and Sovereign to create future facing platforms and services for their customers.

Our one team culture means we build open and honest relationships that last.

We are part of MSQ, a joined-up community of best-in-class agencies, helping businesses build high EQ brands to attract, convert, retain and grow valuable customers.

What Motivates Us

Everything we do is driven by our three core values – Fairness, Commercialism and Quality.

These values influence our ways of working, how we treat each other, and how we engage with our clients. They also guide and shape our behaviours and mean we are clear about what we stand for.

Here at MMT, we care about the people that work with us, and we reflect this in our benefits package, so in addition to a good salary and a starting holiday allowance of 25 days (that rises with service) you will also work in an environment that supports and celebrates your contribution, invests in your learning and development (through a personal L&D budget that refreshes yearly), and supports your wellbeing through a number of initiatives such as private healthcare, discounted gym membership and charity days. We offer an EV scheme and cycle to work scheme as we are committed to sustainability throughout all of MSQ. We are also a social bunch with several events that take place throughout the year as well as quarterly company updates and get togethers.

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

“A place to belong, be valued and thrive”

As a part of the MSQ Partners group we are committed to and believe in building an inclusive culture with quality of opportunity and advancement through fairness and transparency.

That means working together to create a culture where everyone can thrive and succeed; striving towards no pay gender gap, increasing ethnic and gender diversity at all levels of our company, training our people in areas that promote minority, racial and gender equity, and ensuring the diversity and inclusivity of our work product.
