Job Description

  • Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's degree as a minimum
  • Additional Preferred Education: Business analysis, PRINCE2.
  • Minimum years of experience: At least 5 years in Financial Services (preferably within the UK)
  • Specific Knowledge: Core Banking is highly desirable, ISO20022 messaging format (i.e. Technical) is an advantage.
  • Specific Personal Skills necessary: Mainly Analytical (Transactional flows, Corporate banking concepts) and highly effective Communication (verbal and documentation/written). Project activities co-ordination, Ability to work on highly complex and time demanding projects. MS excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Business implementation experience to support project go-live
  • Business process modelling experience to build As-is & To-be processes
  • Testing experience involving unit, integration, end-to-end system and UAT
  • Build test scripts/cases, track defects and produce/implement test plans
  • Experience of writing business requirements, process maps to procedure level definitions and functional specifications
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Actively seeks out know-how and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
  • Develop and document business processes and/or technical process flows, charts, etc
  • Develop comprehensive test cases for new applications/ enhancements
  • Work with colleagues and suggest changes to business processes
  • Investigate business issues using own initiative
  • Communicate key insights and findings to Project Stakeholders.
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
  • Own and develop relationship with stakeholder, working with them to optimize and enhance system integration
  • Perform quality assurance
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Create direct channels of communication to developers to get the job done without managerial interjection
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to Functional Heads
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Deliver project progress reports, proposals, related documentation, and presentations
