Wood is recruiting for a Technical Director to support the growth of our Clean Energy business working across our end markets of: Renewables (onshore and offshore/floating wind, solar), Green Hydrogen, Carbon Management, Energy Storage, Waste to Energy, Bioenergy, Power to X.
The Clean Energy/Renewables centre of excellence is based in Glasgow; however, we recognise the value of remote and hybrid working so are open to applications throughout the UK.

The Role
This is an exciting leadership role in an expert and dynamic team that will be responsible for growing our industry profile as an experienced developer and applier of new technology on Clean Energy projects. This role will develop cross discipline experience across the Clean Energy end markets

Wood's unrivalled market position is built on our ability to deliver end to end solutions from feasibility and advisory, through site selection on , design, engineering, project delivery and operations and maintenance. This through-life support is initiated by our early phase offering from our Renewables Centre of Excellence in Glasgow, including lenders and developer advisory, project development and engineering. This in turn enables our offerings as owners engineer and asset management and operational services. The wider Clean Energy business offering is supported from our other offices within the EMEA region including Aberdeen, Reading, London, Galway, Stavanger Abu Dhabi and Milan.
