Our Client is an international environmental consultancy providing global advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients. It recognises the importance of the offshore Renewables sector in delivering national and international targets and has been developing and expanding its presence in this sector for a number of years.
It is now looking for somebody to head up this initiative and further drive business in this sector, and is particularly looking for candidates who could drive the development of the following areas:

• Site selection and feasibility assessment (e.g. via spatial analysis and resource modelling etc);
• Project development (e.g. scoping studies, stakeholder liaison, EIAs etc);
• Site survey and management (e.g. site investigations, bird and marine surveys, geotechnical checks etc)
• Construction and operational support (ITT development, project management support, CDM Planning
Supervisor etc)

NB: Candidates who have due diligence experience in this sector would be particularly welcome.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing our Client’s offshore business sector in the UK although this role will also need to consider and develop global opportunities for business. There would also be the opportunity to develop and shape our client’s global capability.
The role would be to facilitate, coordinate and develop the business sector, whilst also carrying out chargeable work within the field of their expertise. The position would report into the main Consulting Board and it is expected that the candidate would significantly develop/influence the company’s UK and global offshore strategy.

The primary purpose of the job is to manage Propositions for Home Energy. Grow the Home Energy business and improve the relative competitive position of the Home Energy offering. This will be achieved by taking into account a number of inputs including Insights, Pricing Team analysis and analytics.

This post will be part of the Connected Home team. It is critical in providing technical and commercial leadership across a range of areas (marketing, commercial, technical, regulatory, etc.) relating to the development and delivery of connected energy products to residential customers.

The role will take the lead in the development of our client’s connected energy platform to deliver new features to customers through our client’s Customer Service portal and mobile app.

Key Accountabilities

  • Be the internal Product Owner for Connected Home initiatives and support the scrum team in the sprint planning and delivery of digital products and services

The Business to Business (B2B) team is responsible for managing direct customers and Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) relationships. The team has a target to grow considerably over the next five years increasing its annual delivered margin from £10m to £20m.

The primary responsibility of this role is to work with the B2B Sales Manager to optimise the management of a number of key and valuable TPI relationships to ensure that their value is maximised at all times, providing a high level of service and developing commercial opportunities to deliver the required sales targets.

The role will focus on a small number of TPI’s who will be significant in achieving growth in the Small/Medium Enterprise (SME) and Non-Half Hourly (NHH) Market.

The role is to undertake project management of a number of key strategic initiatives across the Division to develop and launch new services to domestic and non-domestic segments and improve customer experience (examples including our client’s new Electric Vehicle business, Digital Step-change programme, development of new flexibility services).

The primary focus is to develop and maintain project plans, working in conjunction with teams across the UK, lead project teams and ensure completion on time and to budget.

  • Timely and accurate reporting of project progress.

To support the Innovation & Propositions Manager in developing and delivering new electric vehicle customer value propositions to assist delivering our clients strategy and to ensure that contracted new business is delivered within contracted timescales. The role holder will lead specific workstreams from concept to delivery and form part of the wider electric vehicle charging programme. Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in the development of propositions that meet customer needs, deliver clear customer value, fit with the strategy / brand and deliver a clear product positioning within the UK competitive market.
  • Work with research and insight teams to develop customer research and insight to validate and further develop customer propositions.
  • Provide input into the product proposition business model, including defining costs, revenue streams, sales channels, target customer markets and sales forecasts.
  • Define the optimum end to end customer experience including sales, fulfilment and ongoing customer service.
  • Present proposition proposals to senior management to gain stakeholder approval.
  • Define detailed business requirements to enable delivery of specific solutions and work with Business Transformation and IT Business Partner to deliver supporting operating model and customer service processes.
  • Assist in the develop and deliver go-to-market plan to support launch of new proposition, including delivery of marketing plan, customer sales and fulfilment communications, PR and sales training materials.
