Find your future with us.The Role:The primary role of the Technical Engineer is to be the primary point of contact for production staff during the preparation and execution of customer maintenance inputs.Where a Technical Query exists, the Technical Engineer is responsible for triaging and executing a suitable resolution in a timely manner ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures, this may include dealing with OEMs and customers.The Technical Engineer will represent the Gatwick team at all required customer meetings, as well as working closely with our Production Planners to ensure deliverable plans are driven to execution.

They will form a key point of contact for customer technical representatives ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.The Technical Engineer will work closely with the Lead Technical Engineer in support of the success of our London Gatwick Operation.

During periods of training and leave, the Technical Engineer will be expected to deputies for the Lead Technical Engineer.With our continued growth, this role will play a key part in the development and implementation of new procedures as well as project work in support of our continued improvement.Responsibilities:Technical assistance to all BIL supported Line and Base maintenance stations.Primary escalation path for all technical queries at any supported Line or Base maintenance station.Be the focal and liaison between customer /CAMO during maintenance activity.Carry out initial technical assessment of customer request to ensure the request falls within BIL capability and apply technical assessment to consider likely challenges including required skills, tooling, access requirements, NDT etc.Responsible for the oversight of the transcribing of customer / CAMOs maintenance data into approved BIL work packs.Ensure all supplied data from customer / CAMO is accurate.Communicate with OEM / Type Certificate Holder if required on behalf of customer.Work alongside production planners to aid the planning and execution of maintenance inputs.Assist Production Planning in periods of Sickness and leave.Provide base maintenance operation oversight with regards to safety / schedule and delivery.Coordinate customers while onsite.Represent Boeing Ireland 145 at customer meetings.Monitor compliance through sampling.Assist production planners with work scope evaluations.Participate in pre input meetings.Continuously monitor processes to ensure maximum efficiency can be achieved.Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.

Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.

based payroll.Required Qualifications:Be able to work unsupervised but also be a team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.Previous experience of using the AMOS system.Have prior experience of accessing on-line Boeing documents through myboeingfleet.com.Be able to decipher technical drawings / documentation.
