On the back of our PPP (Programme & Project Partners) expansion, we are now growing our team in Cumbria, delivering another crucial, major project at Sellafield. We’re actively looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to deliver allocated activities for one of the PPP projects.

Accountabilities
- Implement the Temporary Works Procedure (TWP) [C]in accordance with BS 5975 section 7.2.5
- Coordinate all TW activities
Key Deliverables
- Ensure a TW Register is established and maintained
- Ensure the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted
- Liaise with Access Design Engineers regarding ALL required TWs designs
- Ensure a Design Brief is prepared appropriately and accurately with adequate consultation, and assign and appropriate Design Category to the TW based on the risks presented by the design
- Ensure that any residual risks are included in the design brief
- Ensure that a satisfactory TW design is carried out
- Ensure that a design check is carried out by the appropriate parties (for CAT 2 and CAT 3, these must be external to the Temporary Works Designer(s))
- Ensure that the design is made available to relevant external parties (e.g. Principal Contractor) where appropriate to do so
- Register or record the drawings, calculations and other relevant documents pertaining to the TW design
- Ensure that those responsible for site supervision receive full details of the TW design
- Lead and foster our world class approach to HSE
Qualifications
- CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator training certificate
- Engineering qualification – HNC/Degree or 10 years equivalent industry experience
- Risk Assessor training
- DM 2015 Training
- Ability to achieve BPSS clearance to work in the UK
- IOSH Managing Safely preferred
- CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport
Experience
- You'll enjoy finding solutions to problems, be able to prioritise and able to work on your own initiative, were also keen to find those that can bring new ideas and a different perspective. Ideally you will have some experience within the nuclear industry and possibly worked on a major project.
