Tom Faulkner is an award-winning creative business which makes beautiful and distinctive
furniture. We have workshops in Wiltshire and showrooms in Chelsea and Belgravia,
London. We are also represented in several showrooms in North America and one in
Japan.

We sell to individuals and leading interior designers and architects all over the world.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing / Communications Director to join the
team. This is a new and exciting opportunity for anybody who is passionate about marketing
and has an interest in the world of interiors.

Overview
As Marketing manager you will report to the Founder and CEO of the business, and be
responsible for organising and overseeing all of our marketing and comms activities – from
social media to photographic shoots.

Key responsibilities
– Planning and executing the marketing plan for the business
– Manage:
* Monthly newsletters
* Social Media, Website (inc. SEO), Newsletters, Advertising, Influencer
Marketing etc.
* Exhibitions
* Showroom events for press and consumers
* All marketing / sales collateral
* Press releases
* Photoshoots
* Digital content and brochures
– Analysing marketing data
– Choosing photographers and locations and managing Art Director
– Ensuring all content is consistent with our brand
– Design and follow a reporting framework
– Work closely with teams in London and the workshop in Wiltshire
– Creating synergistic relationships with (suppliers, makers), collaborators for Tom in
the UK and abroad

Skills/experience required
– Three years + experience in a similar role
– Thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices
– Creative thinking
– Adobe creative suite
– Thorough understanding of Social Media
– A positive “Can do” attitude
– Management skills
– Excellent IT skills

– Strong copywriting skills with a good understanding of the company tone of voice
– Strong organisational and communication skills
