Salary circa £32,000

Hybrid, two days in office, starting late June/early July 2024.

12 month fixed-term contract, full-time [35-hour week, seven hours a day but flexible to cover training delivery between 9am to 8pm GMT / BST]

We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.

Due to a substantial programme of HR/L&D work, our Talent, Learning & Development Manager is looking for an engaging Training Specialist to deliver training programmes that cater for our diverse global workforce.


Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide range of training content, including mandatory training to our global stakeholders.
• Facilitate dynamic face-to-face and virtual workshops, and seminars, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as demonstrations, discussions, on the job training, and e-learning.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to collect feedback on programmes to ensure that they are fit for purpose and adjust programs based on feedback and analysis to continuously improve training effectiveness.
• Support in creating engaging, inclusive, and effective learning materials and courses, including digital content, workshop materials, manuals, and interactive exercises and ensure materials are updated and revised as needed.
• Coordinate the scheduling, planning, and communication of training programmes.
• Provide one-to-one coaching to support individual personal and career development.
• Work with the Talent, Learning & Development Manager and leadership team to select appropriate external providers and work with them to co-develop solutions that meet the needs of the business.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.


Candidate requirements

• Right to work in this location – no sponsorship available
• A confident and engaging facilitator who is comfortable delivering training to a wide range of global stakeholders, including leadership teams and senior managers.
• Experienced in developing training materials and blended learning approaches, including creating eLearning content using various authoring tools, that meets specific learning objectives and incorporate adult learning theories and principles.
• Experience in delivering to a global audience and delivering across different geographical locations.
• Ideally you will have facilitated workshops on leadership and management development.
• Experience in learning technology management to ensure smooth delivery online courses and tracking of learner progress.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time and the ability to respond to changing priorities quickly.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement with the ability to engage stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for training initiatives.
• Experience in working with senior stakeholders and HR to ensure alignment of learning programmes with organisational goals.
• Passionate about learning with an outgoing, influential, confident and engaging facilitation style and exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire and influence engagement when delivering training programmes.
• Contributing positively to our culture and values.
