What we’re looking for:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at our state-of-the-art surgery in Barnsley. You'll play a crucial role in delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service, with a focus on consult-only duties. We're flexible in our recruitment approach, open to hiring either two part-time Vets or one Vet working four days per week. The working hours are 11:30-9, with mobile Vet duties from 11:30-6, followed by evening surgery hours.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets, and promoting pet wellbeing. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.

A little more about us:
In our team, we currently have 4 RVNs and 2 Veterinary Surgeons, with a graduate joining us in September. We have a diverse range of interests and specialties, including exotics and imaging. We pride ourselves on offering training and support to students, with many of them joining us permanently upon qualification. Continuous professional development is a priority, ensuring that skill development is ongoing at all levels of our surgery.
We've worked hard to create a friendly, local neighborhood atmosphere and have built strong connections with the community through events, fundraising, and educational initiatives.
