Job Description

Since opening in 2000, the Ashton Vets4Pets in Greater Manchesterwhich is locally owned surgery has worked hard to provide the community with excellent care and service to our loyal client base, and we have an opportunity for a new Veterinary Surgeon to be a part of our established team. Our surgery is based just 7 miles from Manchester City Centre for cultural days out, or if you prefer country walks, the Peak District is just a short drive away. The busy practice was taken over 4 years ago by a Vet and Nurse team with many years' of clinical experience between them! Clinical freedom for continued personal growth and development is encouraged.

You, the ideal candidate, will have good surgical and diagnostic skills along with a desire to explore and complete full work up on cases to compliment the current two full time vet team. We have an amazing 6 strong nurse team that love to be kept busy as well as a friendly front-of-house team of 5 receptionists. We can offer a full time vacancy, 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 weekends. There is no OOH requirement and after working a weekend you will have 3.5 days off…a very long weekend! We understand the importance of a good work life balance. If full time hours isn't for you then we can negotiate part time hours for the right candidate.
