This client close to Cardiff are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full or part time basis.
Ideally situated to take advantage of the great outdoors that South Wales can offer (hiking, biking, horse riding) yet within easy reach of large towns and cities you really do have the best of both worlds.
This small animal practice has 2 branches, just 13 miles apart, and fantastic facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound scanners, laser and well-equipped surgical theatres.
You will be joining a team of experienced vets, nurses and 8 support staff. One of the teams Clinical Directors is a medicine certificate holder and another has an interest in orthopaedics. The team encourage the discussion of cases between colleagues, and all 3 Clinical Directors are always available to offer support.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to gain experience and/or to further their career through a wide range of clinical and surgical cases and opportunities. The team have very experienced and supportive vets who are always willing to help and discuss cases and they actively encourage staff to advance their abilities and careers. The full time position is for 4 days per week with Saturdays on a 1:8 rota with no out of hours.
Salary up to £75k pa dependent on experience, plus £5k relocation allowance and an additional welcoem bonus of £5k.
