The Warehouse Planning Analyst will be responsible for creating accurate short, medium, and long-term warehousing plans whilst delivering commercial insights and analytics. The plans will cover headcount, equipment, and capacity.


My client are an industry-leading 3PL business with great progression and development plans in place for employees of all levels.


The key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Planning Analyst in Sheffield will be:

  • Create warehousing plans using customer volumes to deliver an accurate and efficient staffing, materials/equipment, and capacity plan.
  • Collaborate alongside the site's SLT to understand volume requirements, realising business goals into a workable plan.
  • Deliver KPI reports based on planned vs actual figures.
  • Produce financial reports with insight and highlight what went well and what requires improvement.
  • Check accuracy of customer forecasts and raise any discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide solutions to ensure volumes are planned to meet SLAs whilst remaining profitable.
  • Change any plans in line with trends, findings, and feedback.


The successful candidate for the role of Warehouse Planning Analyst in Sheffield will have:

  • Experience in logistics or a 3PL business.
  • Experience within operations on the shop floor in a warehousing environment.
  • Warehousing planning experience for 2 years is desirable.
  • Experience using WMS.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Previous experience using PowerBi would be desirable but not a necessity.
  • A degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.


The successful candidate for the role of Warehouse Planning Analyst in Sheffield will receive:

  • A salary of £45,000 p/a.
  • A Monday to Friday working schedule, with an early finish on a Friday.
