Web Developer
Stoke on Trent
Permanent Opportunity
Up to £50k Depending on experience
You will be responsible for the UX UI and maintenance for the company website
A solid experience designing and developing new web sites and web pages
Experience with WordPress however HTML and CSS are hugely beneficial also
JavaScript and CMS Systems would be advantageous to your application
Working within a team you will be optimising existing content and creating new sites to provide great User Experience in addition to meeting business goals
You must also have a good understanding of User Interface design in order to provide a high quality creative visual
Skills and Attributes required:
At least five years of experience in the field of web development
Able to use word press in house
Strong knowledge of the WordPress platform (theme/plugin development)
A understanding of PHP back-end development
Version control (GIT) - Releasing updated and new versions, PUC - Plugin update checker
Beneficial but not essential
Coding Skills required, PHP JavaScript/jQuery CSS - Flexbox SASS HTML
API Integration & Development
Web Pack bundle the JS and CSS
Data Visualization
Have a good understanding of UX/UI Design
Liaise with management and provide clear solutions for development projects
Able to estimate project timeline accurately and stick to deadlines
Carry out final functional tests to ensure quality is maintained
